ON THE WAY enables you to search for places of interest like Tourists places, Fuel Pumps, Restaurants, and many more, around an entire ROUTE. So, this can be a very useful app if you are planning to travel from Place A to Place B and would like to be able to modify your route to accommodate some exciting or useful places found ON THE WAY!
Search for the best route between the desired Source and Destination, (which Google Maps does too). The app shows me a travel time.
View all tourist attractions, fuel pumps, food joints etc. around the route.
Tap on a place of interest to read more about it. Note the time it would add to your travel.

If any place is alluring, simply long-press to add it to your route!
Once you are done, just save the new route along with all the points, for easy access at the actual travel time.
